It's a cold, blustery day here in Lincoln, Nebraska. The current temperature is only 2 degrees.  I've been corresponding with the owner of this beautiful village home in Goult today.  Just looking through his photos has warmed my soul.  The Luberon village of Goult is frequented by writers, actors, artists and others seeking privacy and beauty. Looking for a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath luxury retreat?  Look no further !   more info on La Goultine

Mt. Ventoux in the Fall ~ The weather is unusually mild this year.  The cyclists are out in force and I'm loving the sunshine! france_ventoux_bedoin

This is the view I'll soon be enjoying.  Beth and I will return to the little house in Bedoin this coming Monday for a week of treasure hunting for essence de provence . This is a very small, simple one room house, but the view and village are wonderful. I hope to post a pictorial of Fall in Provence while I am there, so please check back!

I can almost smell the intense fragrance of the lavender when I look at this shot.  This photo was taken just outside the village of St. Cecile les Vignes.  The lavender grows in rocky, alkaline soil, and receives plenty of sunshine.  French lavender is known for its' deep indigo color. The scent is incredible.  Talk about sensory overload!

This Var Valley photo was taken from the top of the village of Fayence.  Fayence is a major sailplane (glider) center and is understood to have the best glider club in Europe.
